Hi, I'm Abbi, owner of Fluid Strength Studio.

​

Do you avoid the gym, because it's a big box full of scary equipment and loud bodybuilders? Do aggressive trainers make you feel too much anxiety? Do you feel guilty when life gets in the way of exercising?

 

I started Fluid Strength Studio with you in mind. As a Mom first and an athlete second, I understand that our busy schedules don’t always allow for a consistent routine. Every journey has its peaks and its valleys, and my goal is to be your partner and provide guilt free support to help make a better you. Exercise can feel so overwhelming, but you are not in this alone, with my help you can achieve attainable goals, find confidence, and most importantly, feel stronger.

My mission at Fluid Strength Studio is to provide the highest quality fitness training that focuses on injury prevention, strength training, flexibility, and mobility. We aim to empower dancers as well as the general public to achieve their fitness goals, enhance their performance, and maintain optimal physical health.

​

Do I want a trainer who sighs and yells at me? No.

Do I want a trainer who understands that I’m a mom who works 8 hours a day, takes the kids to activities, and will sometimes miss my goals? Yes.

​

Say goodbye to getting exercises with no rationale or explanation. We learn best at our own pace, and there is nothing more important than your first step, so whether you’re a senior who needs to move those joints more, or you’re just starting out and don’t know where to begin, know that I am here to help you to understand your "why" and be able to move with confidence knowing you are working towards fitness as an entire body, mind, and spirit.

About Your Trainer.

As a competitive pole sport athlete, I, Abbigail Rennes, value strength and quality of movement using my entire body. And that philosophy applies to my personal training methodology. I want every person or pole dancer in the Northeast, WI area and beyond to be able to think critically about the way they move in everyday life, and incorporate that directly into getting them results in their fitness and wellness goals.

​

My journey to holistic fitness started with a immobile back. Feeling uncomfortable, with pain, aches, tingling sensations, and feeling frustrated - I took myself to see a physical therapist. From there I realized not only was my back immobile, but I had a plethora of other issues I needed to work out or risk hurting myself doing what I love. So I got to work so that I can keep dancing the rest of my life. I honestly feel like I’ve worked out every issue from my toes all the way up to my neck and shoulders.

​

Not only am I fully recovered, but I am stronger, more mobile, and empowered. I want that for everyone.

​

However, physical therapy is expensive, so I wanted to be an affordable option for those who feel uncomfortable but aren’t in pain - yet, want to prevent injuries, move more efficiently, and assist in continuing recovery after seeing a physical therapist with a treatment plan. Oftentimes the lack of results comes from training that attacks the symptoms, but not necessarily the weakness or range of motion in the muscles that caused the symptoms in the first place. That's why I believe in being strong through all the range a person has, or can have, so that they are better able to tackle their day stiffness and pain free.

 

I wanted to be someone that could be with each person through all of your hobbies, passions, desires, and cater programing, mobility, and recovery strategies for what is most important for them and their life. That is my whole mission!

 

Whatever you want your session to be, that is what I want to be for you, and that promotes a lifelong habit of health and wellness.

Dancers like myself often face the risk of injury due to the physically demanding nature of their art form.
